Project Description

Selayang Aquatic Centre (Kolam Renang Selayang) in Medan, North Sumatra, was selected as a host venue for the 2024 Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON). PON is Indonesia’s quadrennial national multi-sport event, bringing together athletes from across the country to compete in multiple disciplines.

Pool Renovation and Modification Works for Selayang Aquatic Centre by Innovez Engineering

The existing 50-metre swimming pool at Selayang Aquatic Centre exhibited water leakage and tile debonding. To meet World Aquatics competition requirements, Innovez Engineering delivered a comprehensive renovation that was completed ahead of the PON. The scope of works comprised:

After completion, the pool and all equipment successfully underwent surveying, testing, and commissioning to verify full compliance with governing World Aquatics standards.
