Project Description

Located in the popular tourist relaxation hotspot — Bali, Indonesia — Aloft Bali Seminyak opened in December in 2019. It features a stunning rooftop pool with a submerged bar, and offers panoramic views of Seminyak beach. In addition, premium guest rooms on the ground floor also have direct pool access to a private lap pool.

Stainless Steel Pool Solutions by Innovez Engineering for Aloft Bali Seminyak — Marriott

As the rooftop pool is situated directly above the guest rooms, watertightness was of paramount importance. The highly built-up and congested Seminyak area also limited construction access, which necessitated a pool construction method that was feasible within these spatial constraints.

To address these unique challenges, Innovez Engineering prefabricated both the private lap pool and rooftop pool in stainless steel. The pool materials and equipment were prefabricated off-site, and transported in sections for on-site installation. This allowed the team to overcome transportation and space challenges during the construction phase.
